Adam Stanchos

PGA Professional 2014–2022

BBA in Management, Texas State University

Background

Adam Stanchos was a member of the PGA of America from 2014–2022. He is a Texas State alum and was a walk-on member of the Spring 2007 golf team.

Upon graduation, Adam turned professional and began teaching at Landa Park Golf Course. After five years teaching, he decided to focus on competition play where he made the cut in his third tournament and shot a career 4-day tournament low of (-7) 281 in Lake Charles at National GC of Louisiana.

Adam's lowest recorded round is a (-10) 61 at Brackenridge Golf Course in San Antonio, TX, which was the course record for 6 months.

During Adam's ten-year career one thing has remained constant, his commitment to working with veteran groups and disability sports organizations. He is actively involved with Move United and the VA where he focuses on helping all athletes learn to love the game of Golf.

Adam has taught over a thousand lessons to players of all ages and backgrounds and has developed a way of teaching that helps golfers achieve, and sometimes exceed, their personal goals.

When at home, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, and, as any good Texan, BBQing.
